It is with immense pleasure that I am inviting you to the "Cities as the Driver for Alternative Economy" event organized from the 27th - 29th October, 2017 in Essen, Germany. This event highlights the emerging economic narratives that are challenging the status quo and implores their impact upon the cities we live in.

This event is organized by the volunteer network of the group "Reclaim Our Economy" in cooperation with the University of Duisburg Essen, NAPRO, Urban Systems, StadtBauKultur NRW, Essen Grüne Hauptstadt Europas 2017 and the Club of Rome. Reclaim Our Economy is a movement inspired and supported by the Club of Rome that started in August, 2016. We are a volunteer group of activists, academics, professionals, artists and other like-minded individuals who share the common dream of an economy that serves everyone.
